Inhalt: This class examines works and tools that rely on systems that both encourage and disrupt self-oscillation. Engaging with the terms "noise" and "feedback" broadly, allowing them to intersect and engender tension with one another, will be applied toward an examination of recent and historical works that engage these concepts. The class will therefor combine historical with recent perspectives and practical approaches, including experimental work by students.
