Terminus as a Point of Departure
The first lectures of this series will look at the electronic compositions of Gottfried Michael Koenig, both in terms of their technical realization and the compositional ideas behind them. Subsequently, the concept of his composition Terminus (1962) will be generalized as a starting point for descriptions of some of my own compositions. The third part of this series will have a workshop character based on assignment work of the participants. (no compositional experience needed).
